The long term plan (Revised 2010 01 10)
2009 was the second year of long distance travels and we have seen many
more
beautiful parts of BC, Alaska and Glacier Bay National Park.
We know that 2010 will bring new adventures and new plans, but presently
we are returning to Alaska (again) for our 3rd consecutive summer season before making our way south
(September/October 2010) towards
the lower Gulf Islands (the Seattle, WA & Victoria, BC areas).
While in the lower Gulf Islands we will do a few modifications and
improvements on the sailboat prior to the big trek South. In this case
"South" refers to areas including Mexico, the Marqueses Islands, Tahiti
(and the entire French Polynesia area), Fiji and continue on towards
Australia and New Zealand.

While in Australia we will put the boat in storage, buy a motor home or
caravan and spend a considerable time travelling and exploring
Australia. After conquering Australia, we will spend time exploring
and travelling through beautiful New Zealand.
Once we have had our fill of these Pacific regions, we will sail across
the Pacific Ocean (probably Eastward via the Panama Canal), continue
East and land somewhere in Europe. In Europe we will again put Mad Dog
Voyager in storage, purchase a motor home or caravan and explore Europe
from one end to the other and everything in between.
At least that is the plan...
We might find something else different or interesting
along the way to change our plans, but our motto is "Exploring to
inspire..." and we plan to Explore everything we can and inspire
others to follow their dreams as well!
Regardless of the changes of locale, agenda or timeline, we will
continue updating the website to share our travels with our website
visitors from around the world.
Greetings to everyone from the The Mad Dogs
"Exploring to inspire..."
